The Women Innovation Camp or the Women's Week of Innovation, which was held from April to June 2021, is an activity that aims to increase the ability of female vocational students to develop innovative projects by utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
This activity is a collaboration between the AIHRD Ministry of Industry, Axioo Class Program, and Makeblock Makers Academy, as well as representatives from related Ministries and Institutions, the camp was officially launched on April 1, 2021.
In this activity, the concept of design thinking and innovation was introduced for female students and their mentors, in several vocational institutions including SMKs and Polytechnics, under the AIHRD Ministry of Industry.
It is hoped that this can improve skills and encourage active participation of female students, in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) which are needed in the industry 4.0 era and the new world of work.
